In an attempt to show his assistant how to get in position he himself is locked with in the wooden shackles and leather harness. To muffle his voice the assistant closes a curtain around the illusion. As she comes around from the back side the audience is amazed to see that it is the magician, he continues pulling the curtain till the audience can see that the assistant is now locked inside the stocks and leather straps that just moments ago held the magician.
